Cover Supervisor

We are supporting secondary schools in Alton that require additional support staff from as soon as possible. As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom and lead lessons using pre-prepared materials, ensuring students stay on task and engaged in their learning. You will gain valuable experience working across Key Stage 3 and 4, making this an ideal opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or wanting to develop their skills in a school setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay focused and engaged.
• Building positive relationships with students and supporting their learning.
• Working flexibly across full-time or part-time schedules, depending on your availability.

What We’re Looking For:

• A confident and proactive approach to leading a classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt to different subjects and student needs.
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
