Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Education and Childcare)

Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Do you have a passion for working with young people and supporting their learning and development?

Are you seeking a new challenge as a cover supervisor in a range of secondary schools in the Tameside area?

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team of cover supervisors, working in a variety of secondary schools across Tameside. As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the class teacher, covering a range of subjects and topics.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and abilities. Experience of working with challenging behaviours and students with additional needs would be desirable.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible, adaptable and able to work independently, with minimal supervision. You will also require a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education, or equivalent experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
