Job Title: Core Subjects Tutor

Location: Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Core Subjects Tutor to join our team in Leicestershire, Leicester. As a Core Subjects Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring in core subjects to students. This role is crucial in helping students develop a strong understanding of key subjects and achieve their academic goals.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions in core subjects
  • Assess students' learning needs and tailor tutoring sessions accordingly
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Passion for education and supporting student development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Additional qualifications in specific core subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
