Job Title: Maths and English - Qualified Tutor

Location: Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• 1. Deliver high-quality Maths and English tutoring sessions to students.
• 2. Develop tailored lesson plans and learning materials to meet individual student needs.
• 3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• 4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
• 5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective tutoring programme.

Required Qualifications:

• - Recognised teaching qualification in Maths and English.
• - Proven experience in tutoring, preferably in a similar educational setting.
• - Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths and English.

Education:

• - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

• - Minimum of 2 years of tutoring experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning.
• - Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

• - Postgraduate qualification in Education.
• - Additional certifications in teaching Maths and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
