Computing Teacher

Join a large vibrant secondary academy in September, seeking to appoint a Computing Teacher on a full time basis from September 2021.

The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering KS3 and GCSE Computing and will contribute towards developing new schemes of work. They will join a supportive and forward thinking department that is committed the ensuring the best outcomes for all students.

The successful Computer teacher will be expected to:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver well structured and engaging Computing lessons up to GCSE
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Demonstrate excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy

This popular secondary school has a modern building with excellent facilities. This secondary academy is located in Manchester just a short drive from the city centre. For those on public transport, the school is accessible via trains from the city centre and bus routes from the surrounding areas of Manchester, Stockport and Tameside. For those who drive, the school is accessible via the M60 and A57.
