Small sized Secondary school in Tameside requires a teacher of Computing to start before October half term. The post will initially be on a temporary basis to January but will be extended if the successful Computing teacher meets the expectations of the post.
The role will consist of KS3-KS4 Computing so previous experience of this is essential. This is not an IT post and candidates will need to have experience of delivering Python programming, Java and other computer programming modules.

Due to changes in the schools senior leadership there are plans in process to improve on the schools recent performances academically and the overall achievement of learners. Behaviour management and the ability to engage student s in their learning emphasising the importance of Computing for the future are essential requirements of this role.
With a high percentage of students eligible for free schools meals at 51% this Computing post will provide an opportunity for the right teacher to inspire students for a brighter future.
Key features of this Computing position;
• Full time post commencing in September for a term initially
• You will be paid in line to your scale point
• Opportunity to earn a school based contract after a period
