Permanent position with salary paid in line with MPS/UPS GBP32,157 to GBP50,935

Our client secondary school situated in the centre of Wandsworth is looking to recruit a full time Computer Science teacher to join their team in September. The successful Computer Science teacher will be required on a full time basis. This is permanent position starting from September 2021, however there will be some handover days in July 2021.

The successful Computer Science teacher will be expected to fully immerse themselves in school life, taking on planning and marking responsibilities at both KS3 and KS4. The OCR syllabus at this school includes the common elements of Digital Literacy, introduction to computer systems and spreadsheet software at lower level as well as programming and more advanced concepts of Computer Science at GCSE level.

This school is housed in a new building with the latest state of the art facilities. The Computing department has the latest technology at their disposal with a full range of smart boards and interactive pads and technology engaging all students. The school are therefore looking for a teacher who is open to creating innovative Computer Science lessons to engage all students from year 7 right through to year 11s studying their GCSEs.

This school is located in the central Wandsworth area making it very easy to access for any teachers travelling via public transport or car. There are a number of teachers that travel from central London and the surrounding Greater London area.
