Computer Science Teacher - Stockport

  • Full time Computer Science teaching post to Easter initially
  • Paid to your teachers scale point

Large Secondary school situated in Stockport requires a teacher of Computer Science for a position commencing in October.

The school require someone who has delivered Computer Science up to GCSE Level and can successfully implement the new AQA syllabus delivering Python Programming, ECDL and Java. This will initially be for 2 terms through to Easter with the potential to carry on to the end of the Academic year.

You will need to have strong behaviour management and an ability to motivate and engage students form all ability levels. This is an ideal position for an NQT although applications are more then welcome form experienced teachers with computer science experience. You will be supported by an experienced department and have access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD academy.

Located in the SK5 post code of Stockport the school is located close to the M67 and M60 and has tram and bus routes close by. You will need to have a fully enhanced DBS and school based teacher references.
