Computer Science Teacher – Full Time (All‑Girls Secondary School, Liverpool Area)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Liverpool (All‑Girls Secondary School)
An established all‑girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is seeking an enthusiastic and fully qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team. The school is recognised for its calm, welcoming atmosphere and strong academic ethos, as reflected in its Good Ofsted rating. Pupils enjoy their learning, behave well, and are inspired by teachers’ strong subject knowledge and high expectations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator with the ability to deliver high‑quality Computer Science lessons at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support students in achieving excellent outcomes, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, participation, and progress.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and positive learning environment, consistent with the school’s reputation for strong conduct and respectful relationships. [files.ofsted.gov.uk]
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
- Assess student work regularly and provide constructive feedback that supports ongoing progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s strong values and supportive culture.
Person Specification
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 4 Computer Science.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Effective behaviour management skills and a commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
- A passion for supporting young women to achieve and thrive in Computer Science.
Desirable
- Experience working in an all‑girls school setting.
- Familiarity with GCSE Computer Science exam requirements.
