Computer Science teacher - Bexleyheath - January start -MPS/UPS
I have a school in Bexleyheath who are looking to hire an Computer Science & ICT teacher in the new year. The ideal candidate will have teaching qualifications, such as a PGCE or QTS, and experienced teaching in Secondary schools.
The position will begin in January and interviews will be held in the first two week of term. This outstanding school are looking to fill full time positions for candidates looking for long term roles, till the end of the academic year.
ICT/Computing Teacher Required
Details about the role are below:
- Require UK recognised teaching qualifications (e.g. QTS, PGCE, BEd)
- Experience teaching ICT, Computing or Computer Science at Secondary school at KS3 to 5 level
- The school is rated "outstanding" by Ofsted stating the modern facilities enable teachers to implement a innovative curriculum
- Pay ranges from £120 - £225 a day depending on experience and qualifications
- Full-time role: 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- It would be a long term placement, until the end of the academic year at least
- Less than a 16 minute walk from Bexley station

The Role
This role is an opportunity for an eager and dedicated teacher who is looking be part of a friendly and community school atmosphere. Successful applicants will be expected to maintain the standards of education at the school, but the leadership do ensure staff have a good work/life balance.
This role will be starting in January with interviews in the first 2 weeks of term. If you are interested in this role please apply to this ad, other similar roles are available for candidates who are interested in exciting new roles this September.
Teachers would be expected to work 8:30am till 3:30pm, 5 days a week as a full-time role. Planning, marking students work and providing feedback would be expected alongside conducting lessons. Experience working with extra-curricular activities, SEN or languages is not necessary, but is always welcome.
The School
The school is located in Bexleyheath and has a focus on high achievement, both academically and in extra-curricular activities. By having an entire school working towards the same objective and adhering to the ethos and beliefs of the school, the children are immersed and begin to push themselves.
Ofsted has rated the school as "outstanding." The emphasis on behaviour mentors ensures teachers have the support they need, meaning all students develop at a similar rate, and behaviour in the school is very good. Ofsted added:
"An excellent range of enrichment opportunities contribute strongly to pupils' all-round development."
Location
The school is accessible via Bexleyheath station and is less than a 16 minute walk.
