Brackley, Northamptonshire

Full time / Flexible

Job Salary: £30,863 - £46,001 per annum

Start Date: As soon as possible / September 2024

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside medium sized secondary school who are currently hiring for a Computer Science/IT Teacher to join their growing department from September 2024, or as soon as possible.

If you are an experienced ICT/Computing Teacher and are looking for a new role from the new academic year, this could be the next move for you. 

The school is renounced for their community feel and high aspiring pupils, easily accessible via Northampton, Milton Keynes, and Towcester. Situated in a picturesque, historic building, this opportunity would be perfect for anyone who wishes to further their career.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and determined in their mission to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all young people, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning. You should be a committed classroom practitioner with a passion for learning and teaching.

Your role includes:

  • Teaching engaging and informative Computing KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Inspiring a passion for Computer Science.
  • Developing creative and interactive curriculum materials.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure academic success.

Qualifications and Skills:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • ECTs encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in teaching Computing subjects.
  • A commitment to academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for staying updated with industry trends.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
