Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a client specialist provision based in Ystrad Mynach. This role offers a unique opportunity to support children aged 3-19 who have varying degrees of complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with complex needs, both in the classroom and during break times.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational programs and activities.
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage social interaction and engagement among students.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to individual learning plans.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a special educational needs (SEN) setting.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to the diverse needs of students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
