Location: Ystrad Mynach
Position: Teaching Assistant
School Type: Special Educational Needs
Contract Type: Full-Time and Part-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £92.63 per day
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking multiple enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Ystrad Mynach. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored support to students with various special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support the development of students' social skills and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom activities and resources.
Qualifications and Experience:
- No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
