This full-time position is focused on working with secondary-aged students, aged 14 to 18, who have a range of special educational needs (SEN). You’ll be instrumental in supporting students to thrive academically and socially, helping them to unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Classroom Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students in the classroom.

  • Helping students with SEN access the curriculum and develop key skills.

  • Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering social development.

  • Assisting students with personal care and any other needs they may have during the school day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
