Job description

Classroom Buddy with experience working with Additional Learning Needs

Primary School-based

ALN Experience essential

ALN Support worker required to work across our partnership primary school in Swansea and Carmarthenshire. You will be covering classes from KS1-KS2 and will have experience working directly with children or adults with ALN.

The role is full-time hours working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm, which will be for the full academic year (if successful at the school). The successful candidate will be supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs, so we are seeking someone with a professional or personal background in education or care sector. The school are also looking for someone who has a lot of empathy and understanding with a caring nature.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supporting pupils with a variety of additional learning needs

 • Working alongside a range of talented Teachers and TA’s– experienced & newly qualified

 • Daily pay rate: £83.85

 • Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm- subject to change for different schools

• Outstanding Primary School 5-11 years of age

• In house training (Safeguarding training paid for by Teaching Personnel)

GCSE’s A-C minimum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
