Class Teacher – Primary Schools | Sheffield & Barnsley | Immediate & September Starts
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher looking to make a real impact in the classroom? We are currently recruiting for passionate teachers to join a range of supportive primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley for both immediate starts and September 2025 placements.
Location: Sheffield & Barnsley
Role: Class Teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience)
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Temp-to-Perm
✏️ Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Supporting all learners to achieve their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with national standards
✅ Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
