“We are looking to recruit a passionate and able Chemistry teacher to join our science department who is able to teach up to A-level. The successfully appointed Chemistry teacher is required to take on a part time timetable with elements of general cover to make up a full timetable. This is a longer-term requirement for the remainder of the academic year starting as soon as possible during the secondary half of the Autumn half term. There will be a requirement to take on planning, marking, assessment and the effective delivery of engaging lessons as part of this Chemistry teacher’s role with all our teachers being subject specialists and passionate about teaching. The appointed Chemistry teacher will be required to teach the other sciences up to GCSE level. We are a highly supportive secondary school with high aspirations so expect any member of our teaching team to echo these high ambitions for our students”.

Our client secondary school are looking to recruit a full time Chemistry teacher to start with them post half term in November.

  • Full time Chemistry teaching position; starting ASAP in November/December
  • Pay will range between GBP24,373 and GBP40,490 in line with payscale and experience given the longer term nature of the role

  • Teach within this large secondary school alongside a senior leadership team that are highly supportive
  • Teach Chemistry up to A-level and Physics/Biology up to GCSE level

Thus, any teachers travelling via public transport that can utilise the tram link will find the school very accessible. For those teachers commuting via car, the M60 ring road services the nearby area well along with the M56 being a short distance away.
