A co-educational secondary school located in the Stockport education authority is looking to recruit a Chemistry teacher to start with them at the beginning of the academic year in September. This is a permanent teaching position at this reputable secondary school as a result of an open vacancy within the school's science department. The appointed Chemistry teacher will be required to teach Chemistry up to GCSE level following the Edexcel syllabus as well as teaching Biology and Physics to lower key stage 3.

This is a highly regarded secondary school situated in the Stockport area where students are engaged with school life. The school follows the Edexcel syllabus in both the combined science and separate science curriculum. The school are therefore looking for a Chemistry teacher who is able to teach dynamic and varied lessons with practical elements as required.

The school is located in the Stockport area, very close to the M60 motorway network making it very easy to commute to for any Chemistry teachers. Being situated on the West side of Stockport, the school can also be accessed from the areas of Wythenshawe, Trafford including Altrincham and for those Chemists commuting from further south will find the school easy to access. The successfully appointed chemistry teacher will benefit from a well resourced science department and state of the art science equipment as well as a highly supportive science department.

Key aspects of this Chemistry teaching position:

  • Pay will range between £500 - £800 per month depending upon experience and pay scale (£23720 - £39406)
  • Full time Chemistry teacher required to start in September to fulfil an open permanent vacancy
  • Planning and marking will be included as part of this full time, permanent science teaching position
  • Teach at a highly regarded secondary school located in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester
