Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Chemistry teacher to join the Science department in one of our secondary schools in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge of the subject, with the ability to motivate students and progress them towards their targeted results. The school has also emphasised that they would prefer a candidate who recognises the importance of building relationships with students to ensure that they are comfortable communicating their anxieties regarding the subject.

This role would be ideal for a vast range of educators; whether you are a retired teacher, looking to fill time with casual work, or a recently-qualified graduate wanting to extend your teaching portfolio-we have the role for you!

OVERVIEW

• Role commencing in September full-time
• Confidently delivering the Chemistry curriculum to Key Stages 3&4, producing schemes of
• Pay rates ranging from £110-160 a day
• Possibility of being offered a fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
• NQTs welcome
