Catch Up Tutor – Reading and West Berkshire
Catch Up Tutors are required for several Primary schools across the Reading and West Berkshire area!
The Catch-Up Tutor Context
Due to the unfortunate recent circumstances regarding COVID-19 and the UK national lockdown – unfortunately, many students may have fallen behind on their education. To combat this, the government have pledged GBP1bn worth of funding to schools to provide catch up tuition to struggling students.
The Catch-Up Tutor Role
As a catch-up tutor – you will be working closely with students either 1:1 or in small groups. This may be in-class or online via our interactive online platform. This may be for 1-2-hour slots, half or full days. These opportunities may also lead to long term / permanent positions in schools to be a Teaching Assistant or tutor.
The Catch-Up Tutor Requirements
- QTS Qualified
- Experience in tutoring / education is ideal
- Experience working with students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) is also ideal.
- KS2 Teaching experience – core subjects, English and Maths
- Pay Rate - GBP20 to GBP30 per hour
