Teaching Personnel have been approached by a primary school in Middleton as the Head Teacher is looking to secure a suitable practitioner to deliver interventions targeted at improving Maths and English within the school.
This is a new role in school and is an excellent opportunity for an educator with experience of delivering interventions across Year 2 on either a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 basis.
The successful applicant will work closely alongside the class teachers in school to report back regarding pupil progress. In light of the recent school closures, this role is likely to start after the Easter break (specific date TBC). The successful applicant would be expected to work the rest of the academic year in school.
The successful applicant will:
- Newly Qualified Teachers who wish to gain further experience are welcome to apply and of course
- Experienced Class Teachers who are keen to accelerate progress.
- Have a genuine passion for the development of each child in your care providing an inclusive environment where all can learn and all are encouraged to meet their full potential.
- Uphold the whole school ethos and be involvement in school life and events.
- Have experience of teaching and supporting children in KS1
- Be confident planning interventions and tracking progress alongside the main class teacher.
As a National Tutoring Programme approved provider, the school are keen to appoint for this role through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
