Carer for Deaf Children in Southall

Do you know British Sign Language Level 1?

Would you be interested in supporting deaf children?

Are you based near Southall?

The Hearing Impaired Unit:

You will be working in tight knit team which supports deaf children within the HIP unit and in mainstream classes.

  • Students: 10 (all ages)
  • Current Staff: 2 Teachers and 2 Specialist Teaching Assistant
  • TAs do not work 1:1
  • Students arrive intermittently throughout the year

You will learn to use the following systems:

  • Sound Field , Surround Sound
  • FM Systems
  • Visual Signage
  • WIGIT
  • Visual Phonics
  • Colourful Semantics
