Care Worker

A school in York are urgently seeking a Teaching Assistant with experience in SEMH.

The role will involve supporting young people, aged 9-16, with SEN including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorder and Specific Learning Difficulties.

The role is to start ASAP.

You will provide personalised specialist support in education where students can learn and express themselves in a nurturing and safe environment that understands their needs and supports them to fulfil their potential. You will also prepare students for life beyond school – developing their abilities and achieving their own unique level of independence as they approach adulthood.

You must have a vehicle as you may be expected to pick up / drop off certain pupils.

The role is full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

You will ideally hold a Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
