Business Studies and ICT

Business Studies and ICT teacher needed for an upcoming 12 month maternity cover at a secondary school based in Tameside. The school has roughly 700 students on roll and is traditional in its nature ands demographics with a low level of students eligible for free school meals and low levels of students whose English as an additional language. This maternity cover will be starting in September initially through Teaching Personnel with the potential to move on to a school based contract after an initial period.

The timetable is an even split of Business Studies and ICT so previous experience of this is essential across KS3 and KS4 level. You will be working in a supportive and close knit department that has an experienced head of department and sharing of good practice and resources is the norm.

Modern teaching aids and state of the art facilities make this an excellent place of work for a classroom practitioner looking to enhance the progress levels of students in Business and ICT.

Located in the centre of Tameside the school has a direct train route from Piccadilly, regular bus routes and is just off the M60/M67 motorways for those with their own transport.
