Have you had previous experience within schools?
Are you looking to extend your classroom experience?
Do you want to work in a good school?
Well you can now as a Brighouse based Primary school is looking for a highly experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) that can offer support in KS1 and KS2, in particular the Year 2 and 6 classes for their SATs. The role would involve offering support for the pupils in the classroom and also taking different groups of around 5 children out of the classroom and supporting them in a smaller group environment. The groups would differentiate between lower achieving pupils and also groups of higher achieving pupils in an effort to boost the lower achieving as they prepare to enter KS2 and also to maintain the high level of the higher achieving pupils.
The school, only 15 minutes from Brighouse train station with great bus access from nearby towns, as well as parking space for staff, was rated "Good" in the most recent OFSTED report, and has been described as lively and successful, as well as a school that serves the needs of the local community exceptionally well. The Brighouse School is looking to boost the standards achieved by the end of the academic year as they are keen and focused on giving their pupils the best possible level of teaching they can.
