Job Title: Biology Teacher

Location: Durham

Start Date: September 2025

Job type: Full Time

Salary: £130- £251 a day (Dependent on Experience)

Are you passionate about the natural world? Do you want to ignite this passion into the minds of the future generation? Here at Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a Biology Supply Teacher to join our team and work in schools across the Durham area.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver interactive and engaging biology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Working closely with the science department to promote student improvement
  • Managing a welcoming and understanding classroom environment

Requirements of the Role:

  • QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or its equivalent
  • Excellent subject knowledge of the Biology Curriculum across secondary schools
  • High-quality communication and leadership skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
