Exciting Opportunity: Biology Teacher Wanted in Durham!

Are you a Biology specialist seeking a fulfilling teaching role starting in June 2024? Look no further! Our client school in Durham is offering an exciting opportunity for passionate educators like you. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we invite you to apply and be part of our dedicated team.

Position: Biology Teacher

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (M1 to UPS3)

Contract: Full-Time

Start Date: June 2024

Located in Durham with easy access from the surrounding areas via A1/A1(M) or A68. Public transport options available for those without access to a vehicle.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong Biology expertise with a basic understanding of related Sciences
  • Exceptional classroom management skills
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (we can help you apply)
  • 2 recent professional references required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
