Behavioural Support Specialist - Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel Sheffield are seeking to recruit a Behavioural Support Specialist to work in Alternative Provisions and Specialist Education settings.

As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support, fostering positive behaviour and facilitating learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Teachers and other professionals to implement strategies outlined in individual education programs
  • Differentiating approach and instruction to accomodate diverse needs of students with behaviours that may challenge
  • Promote positive behaviours and become a role model to students - Consistently model social skills, emotional regulation and conflict resolution
  • Monitor student progress
  • Provide 121 or small group support

As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where all students have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

  • We have various settings in the Sheffield and Chesterfield area recruiting for Behavioural Support Specialists - Please enquire to find out more about the specific location
  • Pay will vary with experience - Ranging from £85 - £100 per day (Weekly pay)
  • Hours are 8:30 - 15:30

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
