We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist (qualified or not qualified) to join our team.

As a Behavioural Specialist Teacher, you will have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children facing behavioural challenges.

You will play a crucial role in helping them overcome obstacles, develop coping mechanisms, and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior management strategies tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to students, modeling appropriate behaviors and promoting social skills.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents, equipping them with effective techniques to reinforce positive behavior at home.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working with children with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
