Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a 1:1 KS2 Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support our client primary schools across York.
Teaching Personnel are the UKs leading education provider with 25 branches across the UK. As an agency we are able to provide professionals working within the education sector day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions within schools. This specific role is part time, working a mixture of half and full days.
As a 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Passion and enthusiasm to support the intellectual, social and emotional development of each individual pupil
- A confident personality and be willing to get involved in all aspects of the school life
- Good de-escalation techniques
This specific role will see you based with children in KS2, particularly in Years 5 and 6. The suitable candidate will be resilient and able to think on their feet in what can be challenging situations. The pupils need a firm but fair mentor who can be a positive role model for good behaviour.
