Graduate Teaching Assistant - South Manchester

A primary pupil referral school in south Manchester have a temporary supply position after the Easter holidays for a graduate teaching assistant.

This requires a graduate with a combination of good academic skills and confidence to work in an environment with responsibilities that changes daily. The school has around 30 pupils on roll, located in the Wythenshawe area of south Manchester with good transport links to the city centre and connecting towns, M60/M56 routes or the princess road/parkway.

***Graduate teaching assistant, working across the school in a range of subjects

***Previous experience within the classroom or with children is ESSENTIAL

***Work alongside teachers, plan and prepare activities for small groups

***Ideal for graduates who are considering teaching as a career

***Earn up to £300 per week (five days Monday – Friday)

As a graduate teaching assistant you will be working in a large support staff team, your responsibilities will change on a daily basis to meet the ever changing school needs. If you have worked as a teaching assistant before this would be advantageous, you must have a confident nature and the personality to engage and enthuse pupils who may be disengaged. Working as a Graduate teaching assistant can be ideal preparation if you are considering going in to teaching, the school are happy to consider graduates from all subject backgrounds.
