Behaviour Mentors play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs and challenging behaviour. You will work closely with teachers, other support staff, and external agencies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with emotional, behavioural, or special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to promote the social and emotional development of students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the overall well-being of students.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Experience supporting challenging behaviour and/or children with Autism
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
  • Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
