This is a full-time role with an immediate start, supporting pupils aged 5–18 years across both primary and secondary phases.

About the Role

• Position: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
• Location: Bournemouth
• Hours: 9.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
• Start Date: Immediate

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, PD, PMLD, and SLD. Your role will focus on promoting positive behaviour, building confidence, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in childcare or education, ideally supporting children with SEN needs
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for helping learners achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
