Behaviour Support, Preston

Date posted : 27/08/19
£57 - £65 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which provides education and support for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism and some challenging behaviours.

The School is Ofsted graded 'Good' with outstanding behaviour and pupils in School are generally hard working and respectful of staff.

However, due to the needs of the pupils' behaviours do occur from time to time so candidates must be confident in working with pupils who can display challenging behaviours, including violent behaviours and aggressive language. Ideally, candidates will be Team Teach trained but this is not essential.

The role will start ASAP (Ideally September 4th) however, the School may be in a position to wait for the right candidate.

The School hours are 8.35am - 3.15pm and you will be expected to stay for de-brief at the end of the day, this is usually just ten minutes once the pupils have left at 3pm.

The candidate must be hard working, empathetic, resilient, energetic and full of personality.

The School will likely hold interviews/trial days on the 3rd - 5th September and candidates must be willing to provide one voluntary day in School to meet staff and pupils'.

The pay for the role will be between £57 - 64 per day dependent on experience.

If you are interested in this role please contact Kirsten ASAP on 01772 842155 or reply to this email.
