Experience working with young people is essential - school experience is beneficial but not required.

Essential Skills & Qualities

  • Confident, calm and consistent approach to behaviour
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish clear boundaries
  • Resilience and adaptability
  • Positive, proactive mindset
  • Experience working with young people in any capacity
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience supporting SEMH or additional needs
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
  • Team Teach or de-escalation training
  • Coaching qualifications or relevant certifications

What You Will Receive

  • Weekly pay via PAYE (no umbrella deductions)
  • Full-time, long-term role in a supportive school environment
  • Access to CPD including behaviour training, SEN awareness and safeguarding
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
  • Opportunities for permanent roles
  • A rewarding role with clear progression into education, SEN or pastoral careers

Why This Role Is Ideal for Sports Coaches

This role allows you to:
