Behaviour Support Assistant – Leeds
Leeds
£85–£105 per day
Full-time and part-time roles available

Do you have a calm, caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others thrive? We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive team working across schools and settings in Leeds.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children or young people who need a little extra support to stay on track. Whether it’s helping them manage their emotions, stay focused in class, or build better relationships, your work will have a lasting impact.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children or young people with behavioural, emotional or social needs

  • Working one-to-one or in small groups to build trust and routine

  • Helping implement individual behaviour plans and strategies

  • Staying calm and consistent when things get challenging

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals


What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or vulnerable young people, in education, care or similar settings

  • A patient, positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Confidence in setting boundaries and managing behaviour positively

  • A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

  • Someone who is reliable, proactive and keen to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
