We are currently working in close partnership with a “Good” Primary School in the heart of Salford, M3. With inclusion and support at the centre of what the school pride themselves on, they are actively looking to recruit a number of teaching assistants that can support behaviour and inclusion within Key Stage 2. As a behaviour support assistant, you would be expected to support, engage and inspire learning on a 1:1 and small group basis.

In addition, there would be freedom within the curriculum for creativity so sports coaches looking to transition into primary school support roles would be encouraged to apply.

This primary school portray core values of inclusion, friendship, responsibility and making good choices to name a few and as a result of this, any future behaviour support assistants would be welcomed in with open arms. With great facilities in the nurture areas of school, you would have access to great spaces to aid learning and inclusion. You would be working very closely with the SENCO and inclusion team to help support behaviour in Year 6 in particular, however there is scope to support behaviour and autism in other areas of school too.

Community and Youth Workers along with sports coaches looking to transition into primary schools would be welcomed to apply as their transferrable skill sets have worked in school previously. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
