The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) as well as other difficulties including ADHD and Autism. This specialist provisions are looking for enthusiastic team players who enjoy a challenge.

The successful Mental Health Workers could be supporting students between the ages of 11-16 in class, across the core subject areas delivering targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis. Due to some of the students displaying challenging behaviour, the role will also involve working closely with pupils who have been withdrawn from lessons.

Having experience in supporting children or adults who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role. However, experience of a Sporting background in coaching or teaching would be desired but not essential. 

Your role could involve working off site with students, so having a driving licence with access to a vehicle would help your application. 

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4:30pm approximately, we are currently considering applicants with full time and part time availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
