Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Behaviour Specialist's to work in a number of large schools throughout Chesterfield with whom we hold preferred supply agreements. We are in need of individuals who want to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for SEN students and make a difference through one to one interaction and learning. There are multiple schools in the area that are looking for people on a temporary and permanent basis.

Ideal Candidates:

• Have experience working with a range of students of all ages with recognised behavioural issues
• Use initiative, the ability to adapt and to be creative when dealing with different needs
• Reliable, organised and energetic
• To provide support consistently and efficiently
• Supporting teachers with the maintenance of student records; providing relevant feedback to students and parent

As a potential candidate with experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
