Behavioural Teaching Assistants in Bexley

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for two Teaching Assistant to work alongside a year 2 pupil and a Year 4 pupil in a ‘Good’ primary school in the Bexley area. The pupils require Behavioural specialists who have prior experience dealing with students’ with Challenging Behaviour or have the ability to deal with challenging situation intuitively. Candidates who are team teach trained would be highly desirable.  We would like someone who is able to show a good level of care, patience and demonstrate willingness to adapt and learn throughout the pupil’s development process. It is vital to ensure the student can attain and maintain good academic levels.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with pupils with Challenging Behaviour
• Be able to work full-time from September
• Be confident when supporting pupils behaviour inside and outside of the classroom
• Deliver  1:1 sessions to maintain pupils progress
• Promote positive behaviour at all times
• Have Restraint Handling, De-escalation or Team Teach training
• Support in preparations of any extra appropriate classroom activities required for the pupil
• Implement pupil safety procedures
• Any related course or qualification would be ideal ( Youth Worker, Ex- Militants or Criminology graduates)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
