Due to a change in staffing structure, our client Secondary school in the Blackley area of North Manchester require a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their inclusion department with immediate effect.

Job highlights

  • Full time position, 32.5 hours per week
  • Opportunity of continuation into the new academic year
  • Working directly with identified pupils, small groups and 1:1
  • Challenging behaviour, SEN, disengagement
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours is essential

The school is located near to the M60 motorway and can be easily accessed from neighbouring areas; Rochdale, Oldham, and central Manchester. The school has a train station nearby meaning those on public transport can reach school with ease.

It is essential that the successful teaching assistant has previously worked with students aged 11-16 with challenging behaviour/SEN/ADHD. PRU experience would benefit the successful teaching assistant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
