Location: Secondary School in Weymouth
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
Contract: Permanent (after probation period)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Behaviour Support Assistant for an esteemed secondary school in Weymouth. The school hosts a specialised resource base catering to students with challenging behaviour. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support to these students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviour.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in challenging settings such as Pupil Referral Units, Youth Work, or Community Support Officer roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient, and resilient demeanour.
- A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields (desirable but not essential).
