Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching personnel are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a large catholic secondary school in Salford.

Our client school are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their outstanding team of staff in supporting a number of pupils identified as having a need for additional support in the classroom.

• Full-time position set to start in January 2024.
• Work alongside students with SEMH or challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis.
• Earn between £1540 - £1800 per month, dependent on experience.
• Must have an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
• Must have experience supporting children or young adults in education.

Within this role, you will work closely with students who have social, behavioural and mental health difficulties and struggle in a classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping these students to integrate into mainstream education, remain focused in lessons and offer alternative learning pathways. It is important that you are able to build rapport with students and be a positive role model to all pupils within the school.
