BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT – OLDHAM – FULL TIME

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant required for a full time position starting ASAP. This is a long term position which will involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and will be until at least the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working as recruitment partners for an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in Oldham who are seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join the school at the beginning of November or sooner if possible. The school has recently undergone a huge multimillion pound refurbishment, resulting in excellent teaching and learning provisions throughout. With free on site parking for staff as well as being located close to major public transport links to the city centre, the school is easily accessible for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant that lives in a different area as well as those who are local.

-          Full time position as a Behaviour Support Specialist Teaching Assistant

-          Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis who are at danger of being permanently excluded from mainstream education

-          Working within a modern secondary school in Oldham graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted

-          Further development opportunities through Teaching Personnel’s CPD courses

“We require a Behaviour Support specialist to join our school to help support one of our pupils who has been identified as being at high risk of being permanently excluded from mainstream education. The incoming Behaviour Support worker will be required to work on 1:1 basis with the pupil both within and outside the classroom as they act as a positive role model and encourage the pupil to further engage with education whilst minimizing their risk of being permanently excluded.”Deputy Head
