Exciting opportunity at a Salford based secondary school, supporting young people who can show signs of challenging behaviour.
- Full-time Behaviour Support Assistant role.
- Required to start in September 2021.
- Supporting students with behavioural and learning needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups during lessons.
- Large secondary school in North Manchester.
- Earn up to GBP1500 per month, dependent on experience.
Joining the support department, you will be working alongside class teachers supporting students aged 11-16 in classes. You will be providing support for identified students with challenging behaviour difficulties who can show signs of disruptive, argumentative and self-focused behaviour. You will be expected to incorporate inventions to aid the students’ behaviour with the hopes of raising their progress and attainment.
To be considered for this Behaviour Support role it is required that you have previous experience of supporting children and young people. In particular, our client school would like candidates that are familiar with students that are known to show challenging behaviour and therefore, require extra support with their studies.
Our client school is based near the centre of Manchester and can be accessed via the M62 and A56 from surrounding areas for those who have their own transportation. For non-drivers, there are several forms of public transport with links to Oldham, Middleton and Failsworth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
