Full time and part time roles - Teaching assistant/behaviour mentor - Pontypool - Secondary School - Pay £54 - £60 a day
Our Secondary Branch here at Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors & Behaviour Buddies to work within Challenging behaviour units. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in managing challenging behaviour whilst looking at the psychology behind behaviour.
You would be supporting a secondary aged pupil through school. This role requires an engaging but patient attitude. A successful teaching assistant will be joining a large support group that are vital in the pupils development.
Desired backgrounds include:

- Vulnerable adults & Children
- Art & Design
If you hold experience working with children or young people and want take the next step in building a career in an exciting and rewarding area of education or are you a Psychology graduate who is looking for extra experience in order to aid future PHD applications. This is the job for you!
Our client schools span over Bridgend, Cardiff, RCT, Newport and The Vale of Glamorgan and require full time, long term commitment (term time only) and in turn offer supportive environments with continued professional development and the opportunity to go permanent in many instances.
