Behaviour Mentor - Oldham

Are you a caring individual that is passionate about supporting young people throughout their time in education?

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside one of our partner secondary schools in Oldham that are looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor, with an immediate start available for the perfect candidate. This exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen due to the school recently securing extra funding to support one of their new students. Although initially on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year, there is potential for the successful candidate to earn a permanent contract.

  • Full time Behaviour Mentor required as soon as possible
  • Fixed term contract until the end of the academic year (July 2020)
  • Opportunity to earn a permanent contract thereafter
  • Providing 1:1 mentoring to a student displaying challenging behaviour
  • Short drive from Oldham Town Centre
  • Earn up to ÂŁ1300 per month (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Our partner secondary school is a large, popular and oversubscribed academy located in the Lees area of Oldham, just a short drive from the town centre. The school moved to their state of the art campus in 2012 and so boasts excellent facilities for the 1200+ students enrolled, offering them a strong culture for learning. In recent years, our partner secondary school has been recognised as one of the most improved educational establishments in the country, which has been put down to the hard work and determination of the senior leadership team.

Due to our partner secondary school recently securing some extra funding for one of their new students, they are looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to offer 1:1 support with a view of improving their behaviour and in turn raising both progress and attainment.

If you would like to apply for this post as a Behaviour Mentor please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
