Job description

Are you an experienced SEN teaching assistant? Do you have experience in supporting pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Diffiulties? Have you previously worked as an SEN teaching assistant and would you be interested in this full time post from January working in Bolton?

My priority school located in Bolton are seeking a SEN teaching assistant for a pupil referral unit (PRU). They want a SEN teaching assistant to cover for a member of staff who is off due to illness. The position is to support pupils in the classroom with any needs they may have, and making sure that a safe environment is provided so that each pupil can reach full potential.

The school caters for pupils who have SEMHand behavioural difficulties. The pupils are aged between 11-16. The work will be set by the class teacher and you will be required to keep the children engaged, keep noise down and keep control of pupil's behaviour.
