Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a hard working, Team Teach trained, experienced Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor for one of our special schools. The School is based in Leicestershire, it currently caters for approximately 60 pupils aged between 10 - 17 years of age.
The School are looking to appoint a full time member of staff to support pupils who display very challenging behaviour. The School itself only caters for KS3/4 pupils who can no longer remain in education due to their behaviour, learning difficulties or mental health and therefore, candidates must be empathetic and enthusiastic when working with pupils who are challenging.
The candidate will ideally be Team Teach trained, have experience working with children or adults who display difficult behaviours, have an understanding of working with children who have SEN and have a passion for enriching the lives of children who are disengaged from education.
