Job description

Are you someone who is compassionate about providing fantastic support to children who have complex needs? then we have an opportunity for you.

There is a brilliant new opening for a Behaviour Support Specialist to work within a learning support unit. The school is based in Wythenshawe, M22 and to start in September.

The school are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children who display challenging behaviour and are experts at building positive relationships. The role itself will involve a mixture of class based assistance and support during lunch and break times, with occasionally working with students who are in the learning support unit.

The school, rated “good” by OFSTED Framework is a three form primary school, with a well-balanced team comprised of senior and junior experienced staff members, providing a great place to work and grow. The atmosphere in the school is a positive  and friendly one, where all people work towards the same goal of supporting the younger generations towards their goals.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to inspire the children to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a patient and understanding approach to helping pupils, showing great communication skills. You will also have a passion for supporting children with complex needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
